Former Nigeria’s vice president Atiku Abubakar has been elected as the People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in the next general elections.
This was disclosed on his twitter handle

Abubakar is currently leading the vote count being undertaken by Delta State governor Ifeanyi Okowa at the party’s national convention holding in Port Harcourt.
