Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson has believes that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte would be a “great” replacement for Arsene Wenger.
Arsene Wenger’s position at Arsenal has come under fire once again following Sunday’s 3-0 defeat to Manchester City in the EFL Cup final.
Robson believes that the saviour could be Conte, whose own future has made headlines over the last few months, despite guiding the Blues to title glory in his first season in the 2016-17 campaign.
“Conte is a brilliant manager,” Robson told ESPN. “When he goes into a football club, and if he went into Arsenal, he’d make sure the players did what he wanted them to do.
“They would know exactly what their roles in the side are and that doesn’t happen at Arsenal at the moment. He’d be a great fit at Arsenal.”
