Lionel Messi has tied the knot with his childhood, Antonella at a ‘wedding of the century’ in Argentina.

The couple who have been together for several years , finally walked the aisle at the City Center, Rosario in front of over 250 football guests.

Although there have been reports of tension between Messi’s family and his wife but the couple put aside their family issues has they beamed on the red carpet.

The event attended by several football friends, was lit up by the glamorous features of the ceremony which saw a host of Barcelona stars gather with some other friends in the footballing world.

 

It was gathered that the wedding guests were banned from using their mobile phones while staff sworn to secrecy under tight security from over 450 police officers

Reports in the Argentine media suggests that their relationship has under strive for about seven years but their respective families put their differences aside for the big occasion.

The guests were treated to a menu which included steak, salad, sushi and pasta which already been leaked for guests to feast their eyes on.
