The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released some vital instructions for 2018 Batch A Prospective Corps Members (PCMs).

The disclosure was made known in a statement issued on its authentic social media accounts.
Bear in mind that the NYSC had fixed March 26, for the commencement of online registration of 2018 Batch ‘A’ corps members nationwide.

The management of the scheme also disclosed that the registration will end on April 8, while the deployment and printing of call-up letters by its ICT department will thereafter begin on April 9 to 11.
The statement read: “This is to inform all 2018 Batch “A” PCMs that Online Registration begins on 26th March, 2018 and ends on 8th April, 2018.
“Tips to guide PCMs during NYSC Online Registration.
“Do not thumb print by proxy. (Nobody should thumbprint for you; thumbprint should be done by you).
“Make sure the passport photograph uploaded is very clear.
“Do not forget the Username and Password used during your online registration.
“Apply for correction of spelling mistakes and rearrangement of names on your dashboard. It is ongoing even after the Orientation Exercise.
“Cross- check your records before submission to avoid wrong details.”
Earlier this month, the Senate rejected a bill seeking to allow the uniform worn by corps members to accommodate their religious belief.
Literally, the bill, which seeks to change the prescribed uniforms for female Corps members from trousers to skirt among others, failed to scale second reading at the Senate.
