Media personality, Kemi Olunloyo, will remain behind bars till at least July 5, 2017 when she is due to appear again in court. The outspoken Journalist, who was put behind bars again yesterday, June 21 pleaded on Facebook for Nigerians to assist her with N100,000 with which she would perfect her bail and avoid staying behind bars till next month.
“I need N100,000 to get a surety to perfect my magistrate bail so I don’t sleep in prison tonight.

I am in high spirits!!!
I WAS ARRESTED AGAIN TILL JULY 5th 2017. Im in the court cell.
Prisons were served a court order and the court register said it was not ready yesterday or this morning. They purposely delayed it so that the prison can’t get it on time. The court started and they released the order taken to the prison. Too late. The judiciary has failed me!!,” she lamented on Facebook from the holding cell she was being kept at the time.
And following her failure to perfect her bail, she shared another despairing post, indicating that she had resigned to fate and was prepared to stay in jail till early July.
The controversial Kemi was first arrested in March for accusing a Port Harcourt based pastor, David Ibiyeomie of adultery in a blog post. She spent over 80 days in prison after her first arrest.
Nigerians have now flooded her social media with messages of support and love in her darkest period.
