Willian came on as a first-half substitute in Chelsea’s recent 1-0 defeat to Manchester City but was comfortably the side’s worst performer and gave the ball away on countless occasions.

He also looked jaded in the 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend.

The 29-year-old had been a popular figure in west London but it appears he’s unhappy with the recent backlash and he ‘liked’ a comment on Instagram telling him to ignore the criticism.
