Antonio Conte calls up four youngsters to first-team training before Roma clash

Antonio Conte invited four youngsters to train with Chelsea‘s first-team stars ahead of the side’s clash with Roma on Wednesday evening.


The Blues have impressed in the Champions League, thumping Qarabag in their opening match of the competition and beating Atletico Madrid 2-1 in an unforgettable night at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Chelsea, though, have struggled for form in the lead-up to this week’s Stamford Bridge showdown, with Alvaro Morata, N’Golo Kante and Victor Moses all picking up injuries.

It’s understood Morata could be fit to face Roma on Wednesday night, while Kante and Moses look set to miss the European encounter.

Amid Chelsea’s injury crisis, Conte called up Ethan Ampadu, Dujon Sterling, Jake Clarke-Salter and Kyle Scott to train with his senior squad on Tuesday morning.

Scott, meanwhile, is yet to make an appearance for Conte’s first-team
